We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, but know that the safety of our students is of high priority and this is the best precaution we can take based on the information shared by the experts. Save the date! Our High School Open House and Student Showcase will be on Thursday, January 25 from 4:30-6:30 PM. You can meet with teachers to check on your child's progress this year and learn more about the programs we offer as we begin planning for next year’s classes. While you’re there, be sure to check out our Student Showcase featuring some amazing artwork created by our students! Our Freshman and JV Basketball teams will also be competing at home that evening. Do you make a great pot of chili? We’ll be hosting a Community Chili Cook Off in the cafeteria at the Open House! It’s free to enter your chili and only $5 to participate in the tasting and judge your favorites! All proceeds will go toward our High School PBIS Program. Lots of updates today, Warriors. Saturday’s Wrestling team tournament in Clare has been cancelled.

Due to expected weather conditions, tomorrow's home Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball games against Big Rapids have been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 14.

Warriors, due to the anticipated weather this weekend, the High School Thrift Store will be postponed to Saturday, January 27. Thank you for your understanding.

These buses are stuck and alternate means are already occurring to get the students to school. Again, thanks for the patience and understanding. 20-4, 23-1, 23-2 from Canadian Lakes, Barryton and Weidman respectively.

Winter weather is on the way. Have you downloaded our app to get school closure notifications delivered right to your phone? The CHSD Warriors app is free on the Google Play or Apple App Store. As you are downloading the app, be sure to “Allow Notifications” when prompted. From there, you can manage your notifications by going to Menu > Settings > Notification Preferences and selecting which Chip Hills buildings you want to receive updates from. Use the CHSD Warriors app to be the first to know about school closures and stay updated on everything happening at Chippewa Hills!

Chippewa Hills School District will be giving away 250 Christmas dinners to local families in need this Holiday Season. Each dinner includes ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and a cookie. All meals will be pre-prepped, and are ready to heat and serve. Meal pickup will be on Saturday, December 23 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM behind Chippewa Hills Middle School. A special thank you to Van Eerden Foodservice for donating the food and our amazing Chippewa Hills Food Service staff for preparing these meals for our community.

Free COVID test kits are available! The MI Backpack Home Test program from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services provides free, at-home COVID-19 test kits to students and staff in Michigan’s schools. Each kit contains 2 at-home tests and are available for every student in the District. If you would like a kit, they are available for pick-up at your child’s school office during school hours.

Our Chippewa Hills Orchestra always puts on the most wonderful performances, and last night’s Christmas Concert was no exception! Students from all levels of our Orchestra program performed a variety of delightful Holiday tunes. Congratulations on a beautiful performance, Warriors!

Our High School National Honor Society will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items at our home varsity basketball games tomorrow! Any Chippewa Hills student that brings in 4 canned or non-perishable food items will get FREE admission!

Today's Middle School boys basketball games at Central Montcalm have been cancelled.

Tonight is our Orchestra Christmas Concert at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. Come enjoy this beautiful Holiday performance from our students!

Our High School National Honor Society is hosting a canned food drive to benefit God's Helping Hands and local families in need this Holiday Season. If you would like to support our students’ efforts, they are collecting donations of non-perishable food items at the High School through Tuesday, December 19.

Our December Board of Education meeting is tonight at 6:00 PM in the High School Media Center.
